These tea jars are made entirely by hand and then carefully wood fired. There is no artificial glaze on the tea jars; the texture and pattern is a result of fire and melted wood ash reacting in the wood-firing process.
 
Because of the porous nature of the clay, I highly recommend using it to store Pu-er, Liubao or other dark teas that need some air for further fermentation.
 
It holds around 20-50 grams of tea depending on the shape and size of your tea leaves. Filled the volume is around 160ml, each one is slightly different in shape and capacity.
