Title: "The enjoyment of reading in all seasons"《四時讀書樂》

The poems were written by Weng Sen, a scholar who lived during a turbulent period of Chinese history, at the end of South Song Dynasty. In total, he wrote four poems as a set, one of for each of the seasons, which celebrate the joys of studying and reading.

The work is painted on Xuan paper affixed to card.
