Li Zhiqian is a renowned painter from Yichang, Hubei province. He specialises in Song-era painting styles, which traditionally focus on the medium of flowers and birds, landscape paintings. Requiring a skilled hand and meticulous attention to detail, Zhiqian has gained wide recognition for his works within China, bringing traditional techniques to the contemporary art market. Li Zhiqian has studied under a number of famous artists, including Cheng Lixue (程立雪), Yang Jinbai (杨近白), Chen Wanheng (陈万亨) and Kong Fang (孔方).

We work directly with contemporary artists from studios in Hubei province, central China, to bring high-quality brush-painted works to UK collectors.
