From when I first started Sixian, I’ve always wanted to locate a high-quality incense maker to share with tea drinkers. Often the incense was either too expensive or not the kind of quality I found a good match for the flavours and aromas of the tea table. Last month I got some new incense in for testing. From the first scent, I knew immediately that this was what I had been looking for! With that being said, I am very happy to introduce these two new, top quality incenses to the store:

Mysore Laoshan Tan Incense Sticks

Year of production: 2019 (5-year aged)
Material: pure Laoshan Tan, or ‘old mountain sandalwood’ from Mysore, Karnataka, India. Sourced from stumps and roots high in sandalwood oil.
Weight: 10g/21cm, 5g/105cm
Aroma: Soft, Smooth, Creamy, Warm, Relaxing and Sweet.
Stick Length: 21cm (burning time is 60 minutes under windless condition).
10.5cm (burning time is 30 minutes under windless condition).

Nha Trang Red Soil Agarwood Incense Sticks

Year of production: 2019 (5-year aged)
Material: pure agarwood from Nha Trang, Vietnam.
Weight: 10g
Aroma: a warm, complex scent that is milky with a touch of cool, radiating from the stick almost as soon as it is lit.
Sticks Length: 21cm (burning time is 40 minutes under windless condition).
