Handmade by Ma Xijun of Xiwu Studio in Hangzhou. Ma Xijun is a contemporary ceramic artist who specializes in shino and wood ash glaze.

The organic shapes and rough surfaces of his pottery contrasted with a use of fine glazes and careful firing are the calling card of potter Ma Xijun. Each piece of pottery can be considered a product of experience, from carefully selected clay to glaze finish, even the smallest cup is a great realization of years of artistic dedication and an intimate understanding of tea.
