This teapot was fully handmade by Min Zhi Studio in Jingdezhen, China. It features a beautiful iron-like effect and a slightly rough touch. The shape of this teapot means it is very suitable for teas with bigger leaves, especially white teas, rock teas and rolled oolongs.

The interior is unglazed which will gradually absorb the tannins of the tea you use to brew, so I recommend only using it to brew one type of tea.

Inside, the potter has carefully crafted a ball-shaped filter which aids smooth pouring and stops leaves from clogging the spout. The lip has been carefully designed so that it pours cleanly and won't drip when drawing back.
