These wood fired teacups have stunning patterns which are results of the fire and melted wood ash reacting in the wood-firing process. There is no artificial glaze on the teacup. During the wood firing process, when the wood ash goes into the kiln, some falls on the teawares, with constant high temperature firing, resulting in a different colour, pattern, texture, etc for each piece of teaware.
