As you may be able to spot in the photo, they feature the unique patterns caused by deliberate cracking. These crackles will absorb colours of coffee or tea and gradually take on new colours. Over time you will see the slow change as you use it.
 
The potter has inset the surface of the mug with a number of carefully considered dimples, allowing it to rest comfortably in your hand.
