This gongdao bei is handmade by Xiwu Studio, designed with a striking surface. Crafted using a combination of hand and knife carving, the surface was then partially glazed, the warm look of the exposed clay revealing to us the extremely high firing temperature that it has endured while in the kiln. The deliberate cracking on the surface will absorb the colour of tea, and over time you will see a slow change take place as you use it to brew your tea.

The lip has been crafted so that it pours cleanly and won't drip when drawing back, while the size and shape is robust and will stand true on the tea table.
 
This gongdao bei includes a protective pouch, as seen in the final photo, to safeguard your teaware during transport. Designed for both convenience and reuse, it ensures your teaware remain secure wherever you go. Please note that the pouch colour will be selected at random.
