This teapot was handmade by Min Zhi Studio in Jingdezhen, China. It features an earthy tone and rough touch. The uneven layer of Fenyin (white slip glaze) and the hand-carved pattern creates a great visual contrast. There is also a hidden highlight if you look carefully, a dust of green coating unexpectedly occurred during firing, like what we can see from a bronze ware that has naturally oxidized. It is glazed inside, so you can brew any tea with it.

It is beautiful but also functional. The delicately crafted ball-shaped filter within makes for smooth pouring, stopping leaves from clogging the spout. The spout cuts water perfectly.
